Yiwu Small Commodity Market is Recovering from Financial Crisis
Up to March 26, there are about 22,098 export invoices and 40,605 standard export containers relating to Yiwu small commodities, remarked a new high point in export this year. Though small commodities in European and American market shrinked, Mid East and African market are still growing. Despite the decreased price of international marine transportation, the internaitonal air lines to Mid east still busy as usual.
On March27, 4:00pm, more than 300 fully loaded trucks were waiting in Xue Feng Road to enter into Yiwu International Logistic Center to receove custom's supervilance and management to get allowance to export.
"Yiwu Small Commodity is recovering from financial crisis." said Chenwen, the President of Association of Yiwu International Freight, Agent&stock Department, the president of Changhang International Logistic Co., Ltd. "Xue Feng Road is a the barometer of export". Before the Financisis, Xue Feng Road is as busy as bees, sometimes, stuffs in custom have to work overtime . But since the beginging of financial crisis last october, the loaded truck decreased sharply.
Why Yiwu small commodities so popular? A purchaser from Ethiopia told jornalists that he purchased 5~6 containers every month when he just arrived at Yiwu, but get 100 containers this year.
